As part of the Telangana Government’s flagship Praja Palana Pragathi Pranalika, a Mega Job Mela was successfully inaugurated at Red Rose Palace, Nampally, Hyderabad, under the aegis of the Minorities Welfare Department and Telangana Minorities Finance Corporation (TGMFC).

The Mega Job Mela was inaugurated by Hyderabad In-charge Minister Shri Ponnam Prabhakar and Hon’ble Minister for Minorities Welfare Janab Mohammed Azharuddin.

Speaking on the occasion, Hon’ble Minister Mohammed Azharuddin expressed his appreciation to TGMFC Chairman Shri Obedullah Kotwal and all stakeholders who contributed to the successful organization of the Job Mela.

The Minister stated that remarkable progress has been achieved in the last two years through the initiatives of the Telangana Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy. He highlighted that while several important initiatives remained pending for years, the present Government has taken concrete steps to ensure inclusive growth and opportunities for minority communities.

He informed that the Government is creating nearly one lakh employment opportunities and that the Minorities Welfare Department, in coordination with TGMFC, is actively working to connect minority youth with meaningful employment and career opportunities.

Commitment to Minority Youth Employment

The Minister reiterated the Government’s unwavering commitment to supporting youth from all minority communities, including Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, and others, without discrimination.

He emphasized that the objective of the Job Mela is not merely to distribute offer letters but to ensure sustainable employment for every selected candidate.

“We will closely monitor the entire recruitment process. Our responsibility does not end with the issuance of offer letters. We will continue to follow up until candidates successfully join their respective organizations. Providing employment opportunities to our youth is our commitment and responsibility,” the Minister stated.

He further announced that similar Job Melas will be organized across Telangana, including Nizamabad and other districts, to extend employment opportunities to a larger number of minority youth.

Focus on Skill Development

The Minister urged young people to focus on education, professional development, and skill enhancement. He encouraged unemployed youth to enroll in various Skill Development Training Programs being conducted through Telangana Minorities Finance Corporation.

“There are several skill development initiatives and industry-oriented training programs available through TGMFC. Youth should actively participate in these programs, improve their skills, attend interviews, and take advantage of the opportunities being created. Hard work, dedication, and skills will pave the way for a successful future,” he said.
