Expedite School Uniform Distribution: Adilabad Collector Rajarshi Shah

Adilabad District Collector Rajarshi Shah has directed officials to expedite the stitching and distribution of school uniforms and ensure that they are completed within the stipulated deadline while maintaining quality standards.
The Collector held a special review meeting through Google Meet on Wednesday from the Adilabad Rural Mandal Parishad office with officials concerned over the progress of uniform stitching and distribution.

Rajarshi Shah instructed officials to ensure that there is no delay in distributing uniforms to school students. He directed them to speed up the stitching process in coordination with women’s self-help groups and called for continuous monitoring by mandal and field-level officials.
As per government directions, the Collector ordered officials to ensure that one pair of uniforms is distributed to every school student by August 15.

He further directed officials to provide two pairs of uniforms to KGBV girl students and one pair each to students of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, SC and ST Welfare Gurukul institutions by July 31, and upload the distribution details online without fail.
The Collector also instructed officials to make tailors from self-help groups available at every school wherever alterations in uniform sizes are required, so that students do not face any inconvenience.

Warning against negligence in the discharge of duties, Rajarshi Shah said that strict action would be taken against officials found negligent or careless.
District Rural Development Officer Ravinder, MEPM PD Raju, District Education Officer Madhavi, DMC Srinivas, TMC Bhagyalakshmi, RCOs, District Cooperative Officers, Sectoral Officers, KGBV Sectoral Officers, APMs, Community Organisers, Community Coordinators and other officials and staff participated in the meeting.
