Case Registered Against Dinesh Matolia Over Objectionable Remarks Against Food Safety Officer

Adilabad, October 2: Adilabad One Town Circle Inspector B. Sunil Kumar said a case has been registered against Dinesh Matolia, Chairman of the Adilabad Chamber of Commerce, following a complaint lodged by a Food Safety Officer.

According to the complaint, Food Safety Officer Pratyusha inspected a shop on Thursday and collected groundnut samples. She alleged that Dinesh Matolia asked her not to seize the samples, stating that the shop owners were known to him. He allegedly threatened her, questioning how she would continue to perform her duties in the district if the groundnuts were seized.

The officer further alleged that Dinesh Matolia later posted a WhatsApp status containing objectionable remarks and accused her of engaging in irregularities.

Based on the complaint, Adilabad One Town Police registered a case against Dinesh Matolia and launched an investigation, CI B. Sunil Kumar said.
