The birthday celebrations of senior Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, were held with great enthusiasm at the Congress Party office in Asifabad Assembly Constituency on Friday.
District Congress Committee (DCC) President Atram Sugunakka and Asifabad Congress Party In-charge Ajmeer Shyam Nayak, who attended the programme as chief guests, cut a cake and extended birthday greetings to Rahul Gandhi.
Speaking on the occasion, the leaders said that Rahul Gandhi has been consistently fighting for the protection of democracy, social justice, love, and communal harmony in the country. They praised his efforts through the Bharat Jodo Yatra, stating that he united people across the nation while highlighting the issues faced by youth, farmers, workers, and women.
They noted that Rahul Gandhi has earned a special place among the people by directly interacting with citizens and understanding their concerns. The leaders expressed confidence that Rahul Gandhi possesses the vision and capability to provide effective leadership to the country in the future and called upon party workers to follow his ideals and strengthen the Congress movement.
